A sed certe - figojn man A skuetas kortan arbon, ha, lun’ jam diska! A kun morto de lokustoj, marond’ ekviglis. A kun kor’ de trampo. Aleo popla kun mil paseraj pepoj - refre Aleo ginka per or’ min rejunigas |
Approach of autumn - the fallen figs are mellow, the leaves turn auburn. Autumnal breezes now rustle trees in courtyards, the full moon pleases. Returning autumn brings death to swarms of locusts. The wild sea - awesome. These isles I ponder in autumn’s gradual riot, now I must wander. Vast sparrow chorus in avenue of poplars means succour for us. The golden sunset in avenue of gingkoes rejuvenates us yet. |
